IPR-GDF SUEZ Middle East, Turkey & Africa (META) is one of International Power plcs six core business regions worldwide.

•Engineering Degree with engineering experience in a Power station environment or a similar  industry including experience of GT technology and operation and conventional fossil fuelled  plant experience is essential.

•In-depth knowledge and proven track record in the management of Health, Safety & the  Environment underpinned by IOSH or NEBOSH is essential.

•Professional Accreditation is desirable.

•Understanding and awareness of the current ECA/CSA agreements and a strong  understanding of commercial issues is essential.

•Proven track record in managing projects is essential.

•Ability to influence groups and individuals within the organization, in order to gain their  commitment to deliver business objectives and the ability to positively influence and create  behaviour and attitude changes is essential.

•Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively  with both internal and external personnel (Government Agencies e.gg) external organisations   (Saudi Aramco), the media and the public) to ensure that all business objectives are met in a  timely and cost effective manner is essential.

•Ability to drive through RCA and rectification of technical issues is essential.

•Experience of successfully leading and managing a large and diverse team of staff within a  24/7 environment is essential.
